This error indicates that the connection to the server has been lost. You must reconnect this workstation to the server. Please review the guide on Network Permissions.
This can occur if you double-click an item in the Launcher. The system tries to run the cleanup/start up code when you open an application, and if you open it twice at the same time, this error may come up. If you click OK, it should not recur.
Check the patient’s Patient Information page under the Self Check-In tab. Make sure that the Enable Self Patient Check-In box is checked. If this box is not checked, your patient will not be allowed to check themselves in even if they have a pin pad, barcode, or fingerprint registered in the system.
Double-click Patient Sign In in the upper-right corner of your screen, and then log in to the Self Check-In Control Panel. Click the Log Out button on the bottom right of the active window. Alternatively, you can remain logged in to CT Sign In and press the START key on your keyboard (located on the lower-left area of your keyboard). Then click All Programs and click Internet Explorer.
If your application does not seem to fit on your screen, you can fix the issue by changing your monitor’s screen resolution. Right-click your Desktop and select Properties > Settings tab (in later Windows versions, right-click your Desktop and select Screen resolution). Select the resolution that best fits the ChiroTouch application. We suggest a resolution of 1024x760. CT Provider works best at 1280x1024.

To hide the ChiroTouch Launcher icon but keep ChiroTouch open, right-click the Launcher icon and select Hide Icon. To exit the application entirely, right-click the Launcher icon and select Exit ChiroTouch.
If you do not see the Launcher icon, but the application is still running, look for the ChiroTouch icon in the task bar (the bar at the bottom your desktop). You may need to expand the options in the far-right section of the task bar. Then right-click the ChiroTouch icon and select Exit ChiroTouch.
Yes, you can! Simply log in to the CT Launcher and click the Services panel. Click the MyChiroTouch icon to launch MyChiroTouch and automatically log in.
The patient has a balance due.
Other is used for any Miscellaneous Other Transactions. These are applied to the ledger by clicking new, other transaction, or new, discount. You will see them on the ledger as MPOT (Miscellaneous Patient Other Transaction). They will show under Payments on this report if they create credit and show under Charges if they create a balance. They are not payments or charges; they are simply "other transactions".
The Dx pointing logic will auto-SALT if the charges and Dx are both set up to auto-SALT. This is required due to the pointing being specific to each transaction. Both must be auto-SALT'd for this pointing to pull over.
An appointment can be retroactively checked in if marked missed by adding a service type charge to the ledger on the date in question. A service type charge requires a completed appointment, so the missed appointment will become completed. This can also be done to create an appointment in the past if there was no appointment scheduled at all. Just add the service type charge to that specific date.
FD-Check In is a trigger. It happens when the patient is checked in using the Front Desk application. If the patient is being checked in by the NEXT button pressed by the provider, or the CTSign-In kiosk, this alert will not trigger, and will become a missed alert. In that scenario, the client could either use the FD-CheckOut trigger, or start using the FD application to move the patient to the second column.
The notes option will gray out if you are not in either the patient or insurance ledger view. These are the only ledger views that have the ability to add notes.
You must first ensure that there are no posted diagnoses or charges, and then move the patient back to the Today's Appointments column.
Many multidisciplinary offices prefer to keep multiple case types for a single patient. There are two ways to create a second case type for a patient:
