My Patient Self Check-In station is not recognizing my patient, even though we have a pin pad, barcode, or fingerprint registered for the patient.
Check the patient’s Patient Information page under the Self Check-In tab. Make sure that the Enable Self Patient Check-In box is checked. If this box is not checked, your patient will not be allowed to check themselves in even if they have a pin pad, barcode or fingerprint registered in the system. Fingerprint scanners do not work with Windows 10 or newer.
Why is my ePad® signature device acting strangely?
The 10.0 version of the ePad driver is currently unsupported by ChiroTouch. Please uninstall this version and install 9.54 from the Archives section of www.epadsupport.com. The supported models are ePad and ePad II.
Why does Cash Practice ask me for the provider information every time I post a payment with the update?
We have added a payment setup screen to define default Cash Practice settings. Go to a patient's ledger, select new payment, then click the Setup button at the bottom of the screen to enter these settings.
Why does my scanner tell me there is no TWAIN compliant device installed?
Your scanner needs to be properly set up on the workstation. TWAIN is a protocol and Application Programming Interface (API) that standardizes communication between an application and image acquisition devices such as scanners and digital cameras.
How do I use my barcode reader for inventory?
Add UPCs in the Inventory section of ChiroTouch Maintenance. Select the item from the Item drop-down menu, and then click in the UPC field. Scan the item with the barcode scanner to assign a UPC.
Is there any way to scan multiple pages, or double-sided documents, as one file through Front Desk Records?
Scanning through the records interface will use the settings on your scanner. There is the option to choose multiple page document when you go to New > File > Scan.
To scan double-sided documents, enable DUPLEX SCAN on the scanner itself.
If you are scanning in as a .jpg, this picture is limited to a single page, so we would suggest scanning into .pdf format.
