Account Setup

Once you have signed up with Global Payments, they will provide you with your credentials for using one or more of the following service types:

For each of these service types you will be given the following set of credentials:

To set up Global Payments in ChiroTouch:

  1. Open the Maintenance application.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Under Merchant Services, select “Enable merchant services”.
  4. Click Setup.
  5. In the Merchant Services Setup window, click the Add button to add a new merchant services account.
  6. Name the account. This name will be seen in the Front Desk when choosing how to process a payment.
  7. Select "Global Payments" from the Vendor drop-down.
  8. Enter the credentials given to you by Global Payments to process Retail, MOTO, and ACH payments:
    1. Select "Retail" from the Service drop-down and enter the following Retail credentials: XwebID, TerminalID, AuthKey, Account Token.
    2. Select "MOTO" from the Service drop-down and enter the MOTO credentials: XwebID, TerminalID, AuthKey, Account Token.
    3. Select "ACH" from the Service drop-down and enter the following ACH credentials: XwebID, TerminalID, AuthKey, Account Token.

While in Merchant Services Setup, be sure that all three of the following options are selected and saved:

Click the Save button to save the credentials and settings.

NOTE:  The "ePay Settings", including the checkbox "Enable patient balance notifications and online payments" are discussed here.

 

IMPORTANT:  These Online Help instructions assume that you have signed up for an Global Payments account and have installed an Global Payments credit card terminal and related software.

 

Once you have done all of the above, you can begin processing payments using Global Payments.
