Technical Support FAQ
On the server computer, start or restart the database service following the instructions below:
- Press the Windows key on the keyboard (lower-left next to Ctrl)
- Type Services.msc into the search box and press Enter.
- Right-click the “SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)” service, and then click Start.
- Attempt to reopen the ChiroTouch application.
If you still receive the error message, please log into CTCommunity to start a chat with IT support. A representative will assist you in troubleshooting your issue.

Run the Mobile Service Manager on the server as Administrator and verify that the iPad is using the correct IP address.
Start/Restart the Communicator Service on the server computer:
- Exit ChiroTouch.
- Press the Windows key on the keyboard (lower-left next to Ctrl).
- Type Services.
- Click Services (or it may say View local services).
- Find ChiroTouch Communicator Service.
- Click Start (or Restart).
- Launch ChiroTouch and try again.

- Type Services.
- Click Services (or it may say View local services).
- Find ChiroTouch Communicator Service.
- Click Start (or Restart).
- Launch ChiroTouch and try again.
Ensure that your server can access the Internet. If it cannot, this will need to be rectified first. If your server can get online, and you still get the Product Key error, please start a live chat session or call 619-528-0040 for additional assistance.
- Ensure your server and any slow workstations meet at least the minimum ChiroTouch System Requirements.
- Try rebooting the server as well as any slow workstation(s).
- If the slow computer is wireless, ensure it has (and keeps) a strong signal.
- Ensure the time, date, and time zone are correct on your server and workstation(s).
- Run Windows Updates, especially .NET (often found in Optional updates) on both the server and on any slow workstation(s).
